Sebastien is the seventh generation to farm the land in Saumur. He started by taking over just a couple of hectares from his grandparents. The Domaine has grown to 4 hectares since then. In 2011, his partner Emeline Calvez, a trained Sommelier, joined him.
The Domaine is situated on the east side of Saumur in the direction of Dompierre and Souzay.
They farm organically, with respect for every aspect of the environment and to promote healthy, living soils. It’s a labour intensive approach.
Vinifications are carried out meticulously without any entrants, using native yeast, without sulfites.
