About: the unusual blend makes this wine stand out, there’s very little of either grape in the Penedès, or even in Spain. One of the richer wines from this producer.


Location: Gunyoles and Plan del Penedès.

Age: vines planted in 2005 and some Garnacha Blanc from 1940 next to L’Ermot.

Hand harvested fruit is de-stemmed and crushed and then put into stainless tank to macerate for one week. Garnacha is harvested first, usually around one to two weeks before the Malvasia, and they’re blended after maceration to finish the ferment together. Malo happens naturally.

A hot, dry summer followed a wet winter and spring so the wines are both very ripe and reasonably juicy.
